The Historic Riverfront Park

Welcome to our beautiful Riverfront Park twenty years in the making. Situated on eight acres adjacent to our Grist Mill Museum. Walk along our riverfront walking trail then descend the steps to the river and our kayak and canoe launch. This is the only access the Village of Bellows Falls has to the Connecticut River and a great fishing spot!

Return to the trail and continue on to the the Hawk’s Eye View Overlook, a contemplative and breathtaking place to sit and hopefully see our Bald Eagles soaring up the Valley. Ascend the hill to the Poet’s Seat circle and Labyrinth. Turn West down the hill and visit the deck that overlooks Cold Spring. The geothermal pool supports a bird population that brings birdwatchers from miles around. The pool doesn’t freeze all winter long and is a phenomenon that is rare throughout New England. When you enjoy our park be sure to bring your dog —we supply dog stations along the way.
